At Stekz, we believe the role of the developer is fundamentally changing. Our developers are becoming 'Business systems architects' who use AI to bring domain models to life at unprecedented speeds. This means we aren't looking for a traditional IT Project Manager to just translate requirements into technical specs. We are looking for an IT Project Lead (AI-first & domain driven), an orchestrator. Someone who can manage adoption speed on the client side when tech moves faster than ever, ensuring our brilliant, business-savvy developers and demanding stakeholders are perfectly aligned.r

Your responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, dependencies, and deliverables, using agile methodologies. As development speeds continue to accelerate due to new technologies, your focus will increasingly shift from merely managing tasks to facilitating smooth decision-making and adoption on the client side.

• Conduct thorough business analysis. Rather than simply translating client requirements into technical specifications, you work closely with the team to map out and clarify the underlying business processes (e.g., using BPMN). You challenge the client: are we solving the actual business problem?

• Proactively evaluate and implement AI tools. You adopt an AI-first approach not only to improve your personal workflow efficiency but also to continuously streamline client processes and team collaboration for the future.

• Lead and motivate (international) teams, driving successful IT project implementations that align perfectly with business objectives. You guide clients through a dynamic landscape where software delivery is getting faster, which requires strong expectation management.

• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues to deliver quality results. A crucial part of this is identifying flawed business rules or scope creep early on, ensuring the domain logic is crystal clear before the team bakes it into the systems.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applied economics, engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong affinity for business analysis and process optimization.

• You are familiar with (or highly eager to learn) Business Process Modelling (BPMN) and the concepts behind Domain-Driven Design (DDD). You think in systems and processes.

• You are naturally curious, actively experiment with AI tools, and understand their impact on traditional software development.

• You are not a messenger; you are a connector. You can successfully guide abstract discussions between business stakeholders and technical domain experts.

• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must, both verbal and written.

• Based in the Netherlands.
