DevOps Engineer with Security Focus

About the job

We're looking for a versatile engineer who can bridge development, operations, and security. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, developing tools and automation, and ensuring our systems meet ISO security standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across teams to enable secure, efficient software delivery.

What You'll Do

Software Development

• Design and develop internal tools, automation scripts, and infrastructure-as-code solutions

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Create monitoring and observability solutions

• Contribute to application development as needed

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

• Set up and manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Design scalable, resilient infrastructure architectures

• Implement infrastructure-as-code using using Pulumi

ISO Security Operations

• Support ISO 27001 compliance initiatives and audits

• Implement and maintain security controls and policies

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management

• Maintain security documentation and evidence

• Assist with incident response and security monitoring

• Do some internal Pentesting

About you

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles

• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar)

• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools

• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  Nice to Have:

  • ISO 27001 or other security certifications (CISSP, Security+, etc.)

  • Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc.)

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)

  • Experience with GitOps workflows

  • Background in both software development and systems administration
