Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience;

• 3+ years of experience with Python 3.X+, Flask, SQLAlchemy, and Django;

• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into backend systems and APIs;

• Proficiency with AI development tools like Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI assistants to optimize coding speed and quality;

• Understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and their integration into web applications;

• Experience with deployment tools like Kubernetes is a big plus;

• Good understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL;

• Knowledge of vector databases and AI data storage solutions is a plus;

• A big plus for some experience with CSS and HTML5, JavaScript and TypeScript;

• More big plusses for experience with tools like React, Vue (it's what we use, but quite similar as React), Redux, webpack, Node.js;

• Experience writing front-end tests using Cypress;

• Experience with AI-powered testing and code optimization tools;

• Based in The Netherlands.

General

• Experience with Git or other version control systems;

• Experience with working in an agile product development environment;

• Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI model deployment pipelines;

• Good knowledge of how browsers work in terms of performance, security, and functionality;

• Experience with developing for different types of platforms and device sizes;

• Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI development practices.

• Can communicate effectively and translate requirements into well-designed technical solutions;

• Stays current with AI/ML trends and actively incorporates AI tools to enhance productivity;

• Ability to evaluate and implement AI solutions that add genuine business value;

• Good feel for design;

• Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and their practical applications.
